Pocevic, Anne-Marie Beach Pocevic, age 83, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Gus C. Pocevic, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2018 in her residence with her loving family by her side. Anne was born on December 22, 1934 to Harold Cecil and Evelyn Georgianna Osterberg Beach. She was the Education Coordinator at Boothe Park and Museum for several years, former church secretary of Huntington Congregational Church and retired in 1996, Ex-Regent Governor Thomas Welles Direct Descendant Chapter and a member of the Daughter of the American Colonists. Anne is survived by one son, Rodney Pocevic of Venice, FL two daughters, Carol Bickley and husband Richard of Milford, Amanda Scioscia and husband, Robert Jr. of Ansonia, four grandchildren, Jason Pocevic, Savanah Pocevic, Matthew Bickley, Anthony Scioscia, two great grandchildren, Peyton and Joseph Pocevic and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband Gus, of 53 years, Anne was also predeceased by one sister, Marian Bakalar and one brother-in-law James Bakalar. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the First Congregational Church of Stratford, 2301 Main Street, Stratford officiated by Rev. Edward Rawls and Rev. Meg Williams.
