I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I wish I had known sooner than a year later. :( He was a wonderful man who made many karaoke nights the highlight of my weeks. I connected with him so much that I had to have him DJ my wedding in 2010. He was so honored to do this for me and we were blessed to have him. God bless you Jim! You will forever be thought of and in my heart. Make my brother sing up there, Jim! He secretely loves kareoke! Xoxo

I did my best to get free at work to be there today. I'm afraid that didn't happen, old comrade. But you're in my heart and mind, indelibly and forever. God speed. Please put in my slip, DK 02-12, Mack The Knife. 😄

Jim was an amazing friend. He brought joy to so many people, I am just happy that we were able to have the time with him that we did. Our world is a little less bright without him in it. His family is in our thoughts at this most difficult time.

Jim is/was irreplaceable. his light and love filled every room he walked into, and his kindness was infectious. His loss is a great pain to the many people who's lives he touched. Now he sings with a choir of angels. and they are all the better for it. My deepest condolences to his family and close friends.

Godspeed, my friend.

<3 d.

This morning at work Under Pressure came on, and I thought about that last duet we did together. Thank you for being the Peter Gabriel to my Kate Bush, the Iggy Pop to my Kate Pierson, and one last time the Bowie to my Freddie. Thank you for bringing me apizza chena when I was missing my family. Thank you for loving music and people and all the things that make life worth living. You are so loved and so missed.

Mr Jim helped me blossom and sing my heart out, always saying you can do it when I doubted myself. Duets with Jim made the spirit soar! If ever you had a question it was, "Hey Jim do you know...?" He always did :) The stories he shared of a life well-lived by engaging people were always a good telling and listen. The world is a little less bright with your passing Jim but the memories of you still illuminate <3 *hugs* my wonderful friend, will miss you lots...My deepest condolences to family and friends and prayers for healing.

Jim will never know how he got me through some very, very dark times. Back in the late 1990s especially, he did more for me than he will ever understand, bringing me light and joy, helping me to endure. I never told him. He never knew.

Taken from this earth too soon, your spark of love and life will live on in our hearts forever.

Jim was someone whose wit and enthusiasm would change your mood. We sang some songs over the years, shared laughs, story's and friendship. Mr Jimmy will not be forgotten. The holidays will be boring and a lot less entertaining without the vibrant good will Jim provided.

January 5th 2002 was the evening I met Jimmy Mac...What a powerhouse....The guy could sing anything...He was there with me through a very tough time...I never forgot his compassion...wisdom... and evey once in a while he was unpredictable...He called me doctor... because he had no health insurance...so I removed his stitches from his leg outside the Blue Sky Diner. So many stories where do I begin...Jimmy Mac, You were like a brother to me. God Bless You....Say Hi to my boy for me!!!!
