Lillian K Ponganis

Lillian Kathleen Kubik Ponganis, age 81, of Stratford, beloved wife of Richard Ponganis, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital. She was born January 5, 1936 in Stratford and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Seamen Kubik and was the youngest of seven children. Lillian was a lifelong resident of Stratford who graduated from Stratford High School in 1954. She worked at Remington Arms in Bridgeport where she met the love of her life, Richard of 33 years. She was previously married to George F. Muttick. She loved to travel, some of her favorite places include Myrtle Beach, Florida and camping at Custer State Park (the Black Hills and Badlands, SD.) She was an extremely loving and caring woman who would have done anything for anyone. Lillian is survived by her beloved husband Richard, her children, Lillian Ainsworth, Lynn Muttick and George S. Muttick, her grandchildren, Jason, Emily, Brian, George R. and Samantha, one great grandchild, Wesley, one brother, Paul and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved parents, Lillian was also predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Peter and three sisters, Olga, Anne and Mary.
