Mary Pauline Gerak

Gerak, Mary Pauline Gerak, age 76, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on March 3, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. Mary was born on August 22, 1940 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late John S. and Elizabeth T. Duch Gerak. She was employed by Pitney Bowes as a secretary for many years until her retirement. Mary was a graduate of Stratford High School and was a communicate of Holy Name of Jesus Church. Mary was a kind and gentle loving person, who always put everyone first. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her and will be remembered in our hearts.

She is survived by her beloved brother, Joseph Steve Gerak of Stratford, beloved sister, Arline R. Gerak of Stratford and several cousins. In addition to her beloved parents, Mary was also predeceased by her beloved brother, William P. Gerak. All services will be held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary's memory to Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford.
