William Haynes William Haynes,age 77, of Pompano Beach, Florida and previously of Bridgeport, passed away on Sunday May 11, 2008. Mr. Haynes was born on April 16, 1931 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Walter and Anna Fleming Haynes. He was a United States Navy Korean War veteran and an assembler with the Sikorsky Aircraft Company for many years. William is survived by two sons, Walter Haynes and his wife Nancy of Cincinnatus, New York, Michael Haynes and his wife Barbara of Huntington Beach, Calif., Joan Sullivan and her husband Jerry of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Jennifer Brecht and her husband Bill of Colleyville, Texas, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Friday, May 16, 2008 from 4 – 7 PM.
