Nicholas P. Mucherino

Nicholas P. Mucherino, age 84, of Milford, beloved husband of Dorothy Stella Mucherino, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024 in Griffin Hospital with his loving family by his side. Nicholas was born in Bridgeport on January 5, 1940 and was the son of the late Patsy and Marie Rizzo Mucherino. He was a proud Veteran of US Navy and retired in 1964 and went to be employed by the City of Bridgeport as a Firefighter, where he retired after 25 years as Lieutenant. He also loved antique cars and spending time with his family. In addition to his beloved wife, Dorothy of 50 years, Nicholas is also survived by one daughter, Sharon Masi, and husband, Gino Masi, one grandson,  Justin Masi, two brothers and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved parents, Nicholas was also predeceased by two sons, Nicholas Mucherino Jr. and Robert Mucherino and five brothers.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford, officiated by Deacon Joseph Koletar. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home.
