Mary Jozef

Jozef, Mary Pupac Jozef, age 88, of Stratford, the beloved wife of the late Andrej Jozef, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2018 at St. Vincent's Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Mary was born on November 20, 1929 in Zemplinska Siroka, Slovakia and was the daughter of the late Michal and Maria Varga Pupac. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed family trips, baking, cooking and cherished spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary is survived by two daughters, Martha Carlucci and husband, Leonard of Shelton and MaryAnn Orszulak and husband, John of Enfield, one son, Frank Jozef and his wife, Kathy of Simsbury, six grandchildren, Emily Carlucci, John Orszulak and wife Debbie, Jennifer DuBois and husband, Joseph, Michael Orszulak, Frank Jozef and wife Christine, MaryAnn VanNess and husband Mark, ten great-grandchildren, James, Mackenzie, Savanna, Sydney, Leanne, Andrew, Madeline, Morgan, Colin and Noelle and In addition to her beloved husband, Andrej of 62 years, Mary was also predeceased by her infant daughter Anicka. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 4, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Holy Name of Jesus Church Stratford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mariusz M. Olbrys. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Tuesday,  April 3, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
