Robert L. Ernst

Ernst, Robert “Bo” Lyons Ernst, age 69, of Stratford, beloved husband of Patricia Knott Ernst, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2017 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with his loving family by his side. Bo was born on October 9, 1948 in McKeesport, PA and was the son of the late Warren and Dee McDonough Ernst. He was the owner of Lordship Pizza for 26 years until his retirement in 2016. Bo had a great sense of humor and love for his customers and the Lordship community. In addition to his beloved wife, Paddy of 46 years, Bo is survived by one daughter, Heidi Manente and husband Greg, and their children, Abby, Christopher and Amanda of Stratford, one son, Robert L. Ernst II and wife Christy, and their children, Robert III and Judge of Oxford, one brother, Richard Ernst of Miami, FL, one sister, DeeDee Decrescenzo of West Haven, special aunt, Joan Irons of Florida and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved parents, Bo was predeceased by one brother, James Ernst. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford officiated by Rev. Nicholas Pavia. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The family would like to thank the third floor staff at Lord Chamberlain for the compassionate care.
