Andrew J Mihal

Mihal, Andrew J. Mihal, age 100, of Shelton, beloved husband of the late Anna Marcinov Mihal, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2017 in Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center with his loving family by his side. Andrew was born on March 25, 1916 in Slovakia and was the son of the late Jan and Zuzana Mihal. He was employed by Avco-Lycoming for over 27 years as a Machinist. Andrew is survived by one daughter, Nancy Conte and husband Daniel of Shelton, special nieces, Margaret Marcinov and Dianne Marcinov, one great nephew, Rev. Martin Mihal, of Rome, Italy, great niece, Eva Almasy and family of Canton, OH, as well as nieces and nephews in Slovakia. In addition to his beloved wife, Anna, Andrew was also predeceased by two brothers, Josef Mihal and Stefan Mihal and one sister, Anna Polascak.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph A. Marcello. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street Stratford.
