Grosko, Anna Klanica Grosko, age 86, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Andrew Grosko, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2016 in her residence with her loving family by her side. Anna was born on March 2, 1930 in Czechoslovakia and was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Churma Klanica. She was employed by General Electric as an assembler for many years and was a passionate baker well known for her sweet treats and delicious food. Anna is survived by two daughters, Anna Lecardo of Stratford and Susan Toth and husband Jack of Milford, three grandsons Frank E. Lecardo III, Andrew Toth and Stephen Toth and special "son" Robert (Bob) Lambert. In addition to her beloved husband Andrew, Anna was also predeceased by one son-in-law, Frank E. Lecardo Jr..
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 79 Church Street, Bridgeport, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Joseph W. Pekar. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Anna's memory to the Geriatric Medicine Fund, Bridgeport Hospital Foundation, 267 Grant Street, Bridgeport, 06610.
