Beatrice M. Kapitan

Beatrice M. Kranyik Kapitan, age 82, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2020 in Bridgeport Hospital due to Covid complications. Beatrice was born on January 11, 1938 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Vera Norko Kranyik. She was employed by Grand Union as a Manager for many years and enjoyed spending time with family, especially preparing holiday meals for everyone to enjoy. Beatrice is survived by one son, Edward Kapitan and wife, Donna of Naugatuck, one daughter, Lorraine Maglione and fiancé Gerald Michaud of Stratford, three grandchildren, Michelle Maglione, Craig Kapitan and David Maglione and wife, Christine, four great grandchildren, Nicolena, Anthony, Casey and Emily, two sisters, Agnes DeRosa and husband, Day of Florida and Mary Anne Baker of Beacon Falls and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved parents, Beatrice was also predeceased by three brothers and one sister. Due to the current health situation, all services were held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
