Carol A. Buynak

Carol A. Stofko Buynak, age 84, of Orange, beloved wife of James Buynak, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2023 in St. Raphael’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. Carol was born on May 29, 1939 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Caroline Kusinski Stofko. She was an executive secretary at Saab for many years. Carol enjoyed painting, looking at her backyard, spending time with her family, that she loved and cherished and listening to music, her love of music came from her father who played alto saxophone. In addition to her beloved husband, James, of 60 years, Carol is also survived by one son, Christopher Buynak of Orange, one daughter, Stacey Pelletier and husband, Daniel of Middlefield, four grandchildren, Jocelyn, Spencer, Nicholas and Jason, one brother, Andrew Stofko and Janet Gomolson of Milford and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Milford. Friends may call on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
