Carol A. McClinch Lambert, age 72, of Stratford, beloved wife of Robert Lambert, passed away on September 27, 2025, at Bridgeport Hospital with her family by her side. Born on March 31, 1953, in Bridgeport, daughter of the later Charles J. and Ruth B. McClinch Jr., Carol grew up in Trumbull. She graduated with an Associate’s in Fashion Merchandise from Green Mountain College. She worked at Caldor’s and at Stop & Shop. She enjoyed spending many happy gatherings and celebrations with family and lifelong friends. Carol is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband, Robert Lambert, son, Jason (Catie), grandchild, Janie, her sister, Kathy Bruno (Frank), sister-in-law, Katherine Delaney and many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who desire, may contribute to the St. James Food Pantry, 2110 Main Street, Stratford, Connecticut, 06615.
