Carol A. Leach

Carol A. Jaksis Leach, age 79, of Stratford, beloved wife of Dennis Leach, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2022 in Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. Carol was born in Bridgeport on August 27, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Susan Pavluvcik Jaksis. She was employed by Bargin News for over 30 years and enjoyed traveling, turtles, angels, Irisis flowers and spending time with family. In addition to her beloved husband, Dennis, Carol is also survived by one son, Dennis Leach of Stratford, one daughter, Theresa Barnum of Stratford, three grandchildren, Patrick, Bailey and Pierce and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved parents, Carol was also predeceased by three sisters, Anne Neeley, Susan Dupree and Margaret Robinson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:30 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford, officiated by Rev. Robert Crofut. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
