Carol Ann Manos

Manos, Carol "Kitty" Ann Manos, age 71, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Monday June 6, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Ronald Manos of 54 years. Carol was born in Bridgeport on September 22, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Felix and Marion (Platkiewicz) Kosobiecki. She worked in the sales department of Bob's Furniture for many years until her retirement. Carol will be remembered for her love of cooking, gardening and love of animals. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother; she will be truly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Dawn Dittmar of West Haven, Lisa Shields of Milford and Gwen Copida of Wethersfield , grandchildren Jeanna, Jessica, Richelle, Mark, Marissa, Veronica and a great granddaughter Madelynn, a sister Trudy Michaels of Florida, sister-in-law Linda Manos of Stratford and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Home Prayer Service with Rev. Thomas Lynch will be held on Friday June 10th at 12: Noon. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street Stratford, on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM.
