Catherine F. Ciacci

Catherine Feda Ciacci, age 93, entered eternal rest Friday, May 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was born April 2, 1932, in Bridgeport and was a lifelong resident of the area. Catherine loved to knit, crochet and quilt, do crossword and jigsaw puzzles, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family. Her love for her extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews never wavered and was evident throughout her life. She found peace in her life through her strong faith in God and the Blessed Mother. Catherine will be missed beyond words by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Catherine was a loving and devoted mother to her four children and is survived by her son Lawrence F. Ciacci and his wife Rose Marie of Milford Ct., her daughters Marie Figueroa of Shelton, Ct., Patricia Maestre of Stratford, Ct, and Laura Burzesi and her husband Frank of Poestenkill, NY. Her 11 grandchildren and 6, (soon-to-be 7), great grandchildren were the true joys in her life and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Lawrence Ciacci, her parents, Frank and Patricia LaBozetta Feda, two brothers, Jospeh and wife, Mary and Rocco and wife, Elizabeth Feda.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, 2070 Main Street, Stratford, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Peter Adamski. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
