Diane M. Casimiro

Diane Mary Casimiro, 77, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at her home on March 10, 2026. Born on January 17, 1949, Diane was the daughter of John Cosmo Casimiro and Mary Dorothy Slosar Casimiro. She spent much of her life in the Bridgeport area, where she was known for her kindness, warmth, and caring spirit. Diane worked for many years as a hairdresser, a profession that allowed her to connect with people and brighten their days. She took great pride in her work and enjoyed the relationships she built with clients and friends throughout her career. Above all, Diane had a special love for animals. Her loyal dogs, Taras and Snow, were constant companions and brought her great comfort and happiness. Diane is survived by her loving son, Jason Ference; her siblings, Patricia Casimiro and John Casimiro; and her faithful companion, Bruce Kale. She will also be remembered fondly by other relatives and friends. She will be remembered as a compassionate person who loved deeply, cared for others, and found joy in the simple things in life, especially the companionship of her beloved animals. All services were held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
