Dominic L. Baldino

Dominic L. Baldino, age 82, of Derby, beloved husband of Virginia “Ginny” Donegan Baldino, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2021 in his residence with his loving family by his side. Dominic was born on November 18, 1938 in Bridgeport to the late Pasquale and Jenny Eletto Baldino. Dominic was a proud veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed bird watching, traveling, trips to the casino and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his beloved wife, Ginny, Dominic is also survived by four daughters, Tina Beauchemin and husband, Alan of Vermont, Donna Busa and husband, Frank of Shelton, Patricia Smith and husband, Jeff of Florida, and Ann Margaret Baldino of Milford, two step-sons, Chris Hovan and Matthew Hovan of Derby, one step-daughter, Michele Hovan of Shelton, 12 grandchildren, Alan,  Adam, Nicole, Samantha, Emma, Jack, Dominic, Matthew, Josh, Stephanie, Victoria and Gregory, 4 great grandchildren, Nikki, Mason, Lily, and Levi, one sister, Philomena Birch of Milford and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved parents, Dominic was also predeceased by one brother, Pasquale Baldino and one sister, Jean Riccio. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dominic’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
