Donald Gregory Rader

Donald Gregory Rader, age 70, of Stratford, beloved husband of the late, Margaret “Marge” Dinihanian Rader, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2021 in his residence with his loving family by his side. Donald was born on May 20, 1951 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Peter and Dorothy Sivec Rader. Donald was known as “Grandpa” to everyone who knew him and enjoyed spending time with his family and attending their activities. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching a great movie.  Donald is survived by two sons, Peter Rader and wife, Tracy of West Haven and Matthew Rader and fiancée, Kristin Mauro of Stratford, three grandsons, Noah Rader, Jacob Rader, Bradley Rader, one granddaughter, Peyton Rader, one sister, Janice Cioppa of South Carolina, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife, Marge, of 45 years, Donald was also predeceased by two brothers, Roger Rader and Dr. Gary Rader. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Road, Trumbull celebrated by the Rev. Dr. Kathleen E. Mills, Pastor.
