Dorothy C. Kollar Campofiore, age 89, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late, Paul J. Campofiore, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her side. Dorothy was born on December 22, 1931 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Stephan and Mary Kollar. She was employed by Read’s Department Store as a book keeper for many years. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting, gardening and feeding animals. Dorothy is survived by one son, Paul Campofiore Jr. and wife, Freda of Stratford, two daughters, Donna Campofiore and husband, Norman Landas of Stratford and Diane Antoniani and husband, John of Stratford, five grandchildren, Frank Carrero, John Paul, Jeremy, Albert and Sarah, five great grandchildren, Sean, Alexandria, Albert G., Alana and Frankie and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 10:30 AM in the Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, where a Christian Mass of Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
