Dorothy P. O'Neil

Dorothy P. Herman O’Neil, age 95, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late William H. O’Neil Sr., passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing Home with her loving son by her side. Dorothy was born on June 8, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Steve and Josephine Martinedes Herman. She enjoyed cooking, Western movies, figure skating and was an avid fan of the New York Mets. Dorothy is survived by one son, William H. O’Neil Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 9:00 to 9:30 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
