Dorothy T. Steel

Dorothy T. Ulatowski Steel, age 94, of Stratford, entered eternal rest on March 9, 2025. She was the wife of the late Frank Steel and daughter of the late Stanley and Bessie Ulatowski. Faith and family were the most important things in her life. She loved cooking Sunday dinners for everyone and enjoyed the birthday and holiday celebrations every year. She also loved going to the casinos and watching UConn basketball. She is survived by her children, Frank, Thomas, Donna, Paul and his wife Doreen, 11 grandchildren, Andrew (Joanna), frank, David and his companion Katrina, Brian (Diana), Sean, Jessica (Christian), Amber, Simone, Anna, Michael and Peter, five great grandchildren, Lena, Aeris, Layla, Mackenzie and Maxwell, two sisters-in-law, Shirley Ulatowski, Alberta, Mulhall, several cousins and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Frank, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Stanley, Edward and Carl. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Mausoleum. Friends may call on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
