Eleanor M Andriso

Andriso, Eleanor M. Mancini Andriso, age 101, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late John Andriso, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2016 in her residence with her loving family by her side. Eleanor was born on May 21, 1914 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Carlo and Josephine Savino Mancini. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening, sewing, her afternoon coffee and spending time with family. Eleanor is survived by three sons, David Andriso of Stratford, George Andriso of Stratford and John (Jack) Andriso of Norwich, one daughter, Susan Galvin of West Haven, five grandchildren, Patrick Galvin and wife Sarah, Margaret Rosner and husband Matthew, Joseph Galvin, Barbara Andriso and David Andriso Jr. and wife Andrea, seven great grandchildren, two brothers, William Mancini and Edward Mancini both of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, John, Eleanor was also predeceased by seven brothers and sisters, Thomas, Michael, Adeline, Florence, Laura, Theresa and Geraldine and one daughter-in-law, Barbara Andriso.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 9:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 25 Sherman St, Bridgeport where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Rolando Torres. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
