Erikka Lyn Hughes

Hughes, Erikka Lyn Hughes, age 21, of Stratford, beloved daughter of Carl and Deborah Slater Hughes, passed away suddenly on April 18, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. Erikka was born on August 2, 1994 in Greenwich. She was a graduate of Bunnell High School. In addition to her beloved parents Carl and Deborah, Erikka is also survived by two brothers, Carl Hughes and Christopher Hughes, two sisters, Krista Slater and Courtney Hughes, paternal grandmother, Lorraine Hughes and husband Patrick Quirck, her grandma Dottie Slater of New York and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Erikka was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, James and Carol Fortunato Slater and one uncle, James Slater.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Andrew Marus. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
