Eugene F. Gallo, age 88, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022 in Connecticut Hospice with his loving family by his side. Eugene was born on September 5, 1934 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late John and Vera Simone Gallo. He was employed by the City of Bridgeport in the Sanitation Department for many years. Eugene is survived by three brothers, Frank Gallo of Trumbull, Joseph Gallo and companion, Carol of Stratford and Tony Gallo of North Carolina, one sister, Catherine Gallo of Trumbull and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford, officiated by Deacon Joseph Koletar. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses from hospice, especially Nadine, Jenna, Marci and Karen.
