Evelyn R Schaab

Schaab, Evelyn R. Carboneau Schaab, age 97, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Leonard T. Schaab, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2015 in St. Joseph's Manor in Trumbull with her loving family by her side. Evelyn was born on December 12, 1917 in Westfield, MA and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Rosealma Barry Carboneau. She was employed by American Chain and Cable for 25 years and enjoyed traveling and seeing America by car. Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Gail Lyman of Mayport, PA and Patricia Pechillo and husband Thomas of Stratford, five grandchildren, Deborah Reynolds and her husband Sean, Thomas Pechillo Jr and his wife Leigh, Doreen Hemm and her husband Joseph, William Lyman Jr. and Brian Lyman, eight great grandchildren, Meghan, Jessica, Matthew, Aiden Reynolds, Alexandra, Robert Pechillo, Danielle Lyman, Jarrod Hemm, one great great granddaughter, Jasmine and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband Leonard, Evelyn was also predeceased by one great grandson, Travis and one son-in-law, William Lyman Sr..

A Memorial Mass will be held on October 31, 2015 at 10:30 AM in St. James Church, 2070 Main Street, Stratford celebrated by Rev. Thomas Lynch. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of St. Joseph's Manor for their love and compassion shown to them.
