Genevieve Romanowski

Romanowski, Genevieve "Genny" Romanowski, age 85, of Stratford, beloved daughter of the late Vincent and Caroline Wrona Romanowski, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2016 in her residence with her loving family by her side. Genny was born on October 2, 1930 in Bridgeport and was employed by Remington Arms as an assembler. She was a devoted catholic, who lived a strong religious life, she was an active member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius and cherished spending time and taking care of family and friends. Genny is survived by one sister, Florence Paul of Ocala, FL and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her beloved parents, Genny was also predeceased by four brothers, Charles Romanowski, Robert Romanowski, Vincent Romanowski and Edward Romanowski and two sisters, Gladys Fourtin and Helen Goings.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's of Stratford National Catholic Church, 1300 Stratford Road, Stratford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Michal Gitner. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Tuesday from 8:00 - 9:30 AM.
