Gladys E Foster

Foster, Gladys E. Mottram Foster, age 92, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Kenneth J. Foster, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2015 in Connecticut Hospice with her loving family by her side. Gladys was born on March 18, 1923 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Charles Philip and Edith Hofmiller Mottram. Gladys was employed by Stratford Town Fair as a Sales Associate for many years. She was an avid gardener, great cook and baker and enjoyed spending time at her summer cabin in Massachusetts with family. In addition to her beloved husband Kenneth of 68 years, Gladys is also survived by one son, Jeffrey Foster and wife Nancy of Stratford, three grandchildren, Brian J. Foster, Lauren M. Foster and fiancé Thomas Memoli and Jason J. Foster and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved parents, Gladys was also predeceased by three brothers.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
