James E. Buynak, age 87, of Orange, beloved husband of the later Carol A. Stofko Buynak, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026 in his residence with his loving family by his side. James was born on January 10, 1939 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late William and Bertha Bilinski Buynak. He was a printer for many years and enjoyed spending time with family and was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. James is survived one daughter, Stacey Pelletier and husband, Daniel of Middlefield, four grandchildren, Jocelyn, Spencer, Nicholas and Jason, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife, Carol, James was also predeceased by his son, Christopher Buynak, and his brother, William Buynak. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Milford. Arrangements were entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
