James F Maceyunas

Maceyunas, James (Jim) F. Maceyunas, age 71, of Stratford, beloved husband of Theresa Lord Maceyunas, passed away suddenly on January 16, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. James was born on October 23, 1944 in Derby and was the son of the late Edward and Pauline Capporelli Maceyunas. He was employed by IBEW Local # 488 as an electrician for over 45 years. James was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, scuba diving, being near the water and spending time on boats. He cherished spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren and teaching his grandchildren how to fish and hunt. In addition to his beloved wife, Theresa, James is also survived by one son, Jason Maceyunas and wife Jennifer of Prescott, Arizona, one daughter, Tara Maceyunas of Stratford, two grandsons, Donald Jr. and Andrew, two brothers, Edward Maceyunas and wife Elsie of Stratford and Paul Maceyunas and wife Robin of South Carolina and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
