John W. Clark

John “Jack” Wilson Clark, age 87, of Stratford, beloved husband of Kathleen Wasco Clark, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. John was born on June 6, 1937 in Milford and was the son of the late John and Sophie Novak Clark. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and played football at Milford High School and in Germany for the Bases team. John was also an avid Uconn Basketball fan, enjoyed sailing, spending time at the beach, traveling and was a “Jack of all Trades.” In addition to his beloved wife, Kathleen of 60 years, John is also survived by four daughters, Jessica Pocevic and husband, Arthur, Kirsten Weiner and husband, Raymond, Lauren Clark and Stephen Carpentieri and Aubrey Cameron and husband, Matthew, 11 grandchildren, Ryan, Marissa, Raymond, Matthew, Jennie, Kylie, Hayden, Gemma, Gia, Sunny and Daisy, one great grandson, Dominic, one sister, Kathleen Tambling and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Milford Cemetery.
