John V. Grega Jr.

John V. Grega Jr., age 72, of Stratford, beloved husband of Beth Houghton Grega, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2023 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born in Bridgeport and was the son of the late John V. Sr. and Marion Nerkowski Grega. John was employed by the Town of Stratford and worked in the Highway Department. In addition to his beloved wife, Beth, John is also survived by two sons, Michael Duarte and Christopher Duarte, three grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael and Tyler, and one sister, Florence Gillich. In addition to his beloved parents, John was also predeceased by one brother, James Grega. All services will be held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
