John W. Henderson Sr.

John W. Henderson Sr., age 83, of Stratford, beloved husband of Judith Pallock Henderson, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. John was born on October 12, 1937 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late John F. and Marion Hofmiller Henderson. John was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was part of the 101st Airborne. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially taking family vacations and Sunday get-togethers. In addition to his beloved wife, Judith, of 60 years, John is also survived by one son, John W. Henderson Jr. of Stratford, three daughters, Doreen Hunt and husband, Hilton of Torrington, Kim Gravel and husband, Joseph of Milford and Tracy Daigle and husband, Adrian of Stratford, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Due to the current health situation, all services were held privately and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
