John Wayne Shea

Shea, John Wayne "Duke" Shea, age 32, of Milford, died suddenly on October 23, 2015. He was born in Pensacola, Florida on July 7, 1983 and was the son of Alicia McQuade Shea and Michael George Shea. Duke was a graduate of Joseph A. Foran High School in Milford and was attending Gateway College. He was currently employed at Frontier Communications as a technician. He proudly served four years in The United States Marine Corp and attained rank of Sergeant. He lived in Milford most of his life and was a member of the VFW 7788 in Devon. In addition to his parents, Michael George Shea of Houston, Texas, and Alicia Shea of Naugatuck and her partner, William Nobitz of West Haven, Duke is also survived by one sister, Meghan Shea of Flushing, NY, one half-brother, Christian Cody Shea, two half-sisters, Keeley Michaela Shea and Riley Kathleen Shea and his aunt, Danee Ashford of Shelton and several uncles and aunts.

A Memorial prayer service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:30 PM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford officiated by Minister Elena Moreno. Friends may call from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
