Joseph L. Ciotti

Joseph L. Ciotti, age 85, of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth R. Campofiore Ciotti, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2021 in his residence with his loving family by his side. Joseph was born on April 10, 1936 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Primo and Loretta Bavilacque Ciotti. He was a proud Veteran of the Unites States Army and was employed by Avco as a Gas Turbine Inspector for many years. Joseph was an avid singer, a gun instructor for the Bridgeport Rifle Club, member of multiple car clubs, a life member of the VFW # 9460 and enjoyed spending time with family. He is survived by three daughters, Loretta “Lori” Michaud and husband, Art of Stratford, Angela “Angie” Mooney of Stratford and Katherine “Kitty” D’Auria and husband, Ralph of Bridgeport, five grandchildren, Joseph, Norma, George Sr., Ralph Jr. and William, two great grandchildren, George Jr. and Dante, one brothers, Albino Ciotti of Bridgeport, longtime girlfiend, Joyce Smith of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife, Elizabeth, Joseph was also predeceased by one son, Joseph Michael Ciotti and one brother, Primo Ciotti. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
