Linda Ciecko

Linda Ciecko, age 75, of Stratford, Ronald’s beloved wife of 32 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. Linda loved all animals, especially her handsome cat Sparkie. She was an avid scrapbooking enthusiast and created numerous photo albums with memories that will last forever. She loved to dance, especially 50’s Rock and Roll and looked forward to a sunny afternoon boat ride in Northport, LI and a glass or two of pinot grigio. She loved her new friends at Oronoque Village and the numerous parties, dinners and shows she attended with them. She was known to her grandchildren as “Lulu” and “Gramlin” and will be loved and missed by all that knew her. In addition to her beloved husband, Ronald, Linda is also survived by her daughter, Cindy Rufe and her husband, Charles, grandchildren, Morgan, Ryan and Addy, her daughter, Nancy Lagnese and husband, Michael, grandchildren Connor, Katie and Claudia, her brother, John Helander and his wife, Susan, stepson, Scott and wife, Kim, grandchildren Julia, Kristen and Reese, stepson, Mark Ciecko. Due to the current health situation, all services were held privately and a family boat ride and ceremony in Northport will be planned at a later date to celebrate her life. Arrangements were entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
