Louise P. Provenzano

Louise Pauline Macisco Provenzano, age 93, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late, Albert Provenzano, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her side. Louise was born on January 8, 1930 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Nick and Mary Negrelli Macisco. Louise and husband, Albert opened House of Spirits in 1957 in the Southend of Stratford which is open to this day. Louise was a wonderful and caring person, gracious with family, friends and customers alike. She will be loved and missed by many.  Louise is survived by two sons,  Marc Provenzano and Marten Provenzano and wife, Christina, one daughter, Marcel Provenzano, one daughter-in-law, Ann Marie Provenzano, five grandchildren, Gina, Giovanni, Mariah, Joules, and Angela Provenzano, one brother, Raymond Macisco and wife, Lorraine of Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her beloved husband, Albert, Louise was also predeceased by one daughter, Cheryl Lou, four brothers, Anthony, Frederick, Albert, and James Macisco and three sisters, Dorothy Kerekes, Elizabeth Mooney and Violet Royer. The family would like to thank Olivia, one of Louise's caretakers. The love and compassion she showed was nothing short of amazing. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 10:30 AM officiated by Deacon Joseph Koletar in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
