Lynne Whaley

Lynne Pekar Whaley, age 63, of Stratford, beloved wife of John Whaley, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2022 in her residence with her loving family by her side. Lynne was born on October 31, 1958 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Fred and Barbara Landry Pekar. Children were her passion in life and she enjoyed visiting the casino and spending time with family, especially snuggling and watching SpongeBob with her grandson, Oliver. In addition to her beloved husband, John, Lynne is also survived by two sons, John Whaley Jr and partner, Lauren Marchello of Bridgeport and Jesse Whaley and fiancé, Nicole Johnson, two brothers, Thomas Pekar and William Pekar, one sister, Patricia Maietto, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved parents, Lynne was also predeceased by one brother, James Pekar. All services will be held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
