Margaret J. Dezelich Obituary

Margaret “Jackie” Quinn Dezelich, age 87, of Trumbull, peacefully entered eternal life at her home on February 23, 2026. She was a devout catholic and was known for her generous spirit and compassionate heart, an avid reader who also loved the challenge of a complex puzzle and the fun of a good Bingo game. She was an avid fan of the UConn Women’s basketball team and retired from Bryant Electric in Bridgeport. Jackie, you will be greatly missed and never forgotten by all who were privileged to have known you. She is survived by her granddaughter, Emilie Valentine of Bridgeport and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to her husband, Guy Dezelich, Margaret was also predeceased by her son, James Valentine, parents, James and Ida Kelley Quinn, and brothers, Fred Quinn, Andrew “Sonny” Quinn, and Sebastian “Skip” Tiberio.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 10:30 AM in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
