Marie Rose Iannucci

Marie Rose Stafko Iannucci, beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Iannucci, passed suddenly at her residence on September 27, 2024. She attended Henry Ford College in Dearborn, Michigan, and was President of the Beardsley School PTA in Bridgeport. She attended many night classes in various subjects in service to her love of learning. Marie was on a bowling team for a number of years and enjoyed art, music, sewing, flower gardening, and many other activities with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed weekly card games, get-togethers with friends and family members, and participated in all family holiday celebrations. Marie was acknowledged by the United Way for her 16 years of service. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and family to Cape Cod, Maine, New York State, Pennsylvania, and other destinations in the United States. Marie is survived by one daughter, Laurie Picone and her husband, Michael, of Shelton; one son, Christopher Iannucci and his wife, Patti, of Shelton; five grandchildren, Christian Iannucci and his wife, Rafaella, Caitlin Jurkowski and her husband, Tim, Kyle Picone, Lauren Picone, and Rebecca Picone; and three great-grandchildren, Liliana and Kinley Rose Jurkowski, and Bernardo Iannucci. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane in Stratford. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
