Marilyn Alice Lecza Geffert, age 78, of Stratford passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Bridgeport Hospital into the arms of Jesus with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 11, 1947 to Alexander and Alice Lecza. She was the beloved wife of Richard A Geffert. Marilyn was an Administrative Secretary for Dresser Industries, Secretary to the Vice President at Vishay Vitramon and lastly worked for the Trumbull Police Department. Marilyn will be dearly missed; she will be forever remembered for her fiery spirit and zest for life but most of all Marilyn will be remembered for the everlasting love she gave to her family. In addition to her beloved husband, Richard, Marilyn is also survived by her loving family, son James M Leclerc, devoted daughter, Deana (Dennis) Buczek, grandchildren, James Leclerc Jr. (Michelle), Daniel Buczek (Ashley), Steven Buczek (Alyssa), Kevin Leclerc (Brittney) and Tate Citron, great grandchildren, Aimiliani Leclerc, Briella Buczek, Graziella Buczek, Ava Buczek and Olivia Buczek. Sister Patricia Moyher, one brother, Ronald Lecza Sr., sister-in-Law, Agnes Brill and Betty Ann (Roger) Nemergut and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved parents, Marilyn was also predeceased by her grandson, Michael Citron, brothers-in-law, Charles Moyher and Robert K Brill. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11:30 AM at St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, where A Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow at St. Michael’s Mausoleum. Friends may call on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
