Marion B Gresko

Gresko, Marion B. Buynak Gresko, age 93, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Joseph Gresko, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2016 in her residence with her loving family by her side. Marion was born on August 1, 1922 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late John and Veronica Buynak. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, search a word puzzles, polka music and breakfast with close friends. Marion was also a lifelong parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus and cherished spending time with family. Marion is survived by two sons, James J. Gresko and partner Andrian Vittorio of Stratford and Joseph P. Gresko of Stratford, four daughters, JoAnne Gresko Schroth and husband Charles of Westfield, MA, Jacqueline Convertito and husband Philip of Stratford, Susan Maillard and husband Robert of Stratford and Sandra Pegolo of Stratford, nine grandchildren, Coriann, Jared, David, Michelle, Brian, Craig, Steven, Angela and Ryan, three great grandchildren, Graham, Pippa and Eleanor, one brother, John Buynak and wife Dorothy of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Joseph of 59 years, Marion was also predeceased by one brother, Andrew Buynak and one sister, Helen Buynak.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. DIRECTLY in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Andrew Varga. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home 2220 Main Street Stratford. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may contribute to the Holy Name of Jesus Ladies Guild, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford.
