Mary Jane Feda

Mary Jane Fechik Feda, age 89, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Joseph Feda, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2022 in Midstate Medical Center, with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 3, 1933 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Gemba Fechik. Mary was employed by Pullman and Comley as a legal secretary for many years. She was an avid Uconn Women’s Basketball fan, New York Yankees fan, since the age of 16 and loved traveling to the casino. Mary is survived by two sons, Frank Feda of Hudson, New Hampshire and Dave Feda and wife, Mary of Wallingford, one daughter, Patrice Feda of Maine, two granddaughters, Michelle and Jennifer, one sister, Helen Denslow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Joseph, of 59 years, Mary was also predeceased by one brother, Michael and one sister, Ann. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Russell Augustine.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
