Mary E Kovaleski

Kovaleski, Mary E. Bygott Kovaleski, age 96, of Shelton, beloved mother of Gail Kovaleski Jarvis, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2016 in the Jewish Home for the Elderly with her loving family by her side. Mary was born on August 15, 1919 in Wooster, MA and was the daughter of the late Philip and Carol Mikowozub Bygott. She was employed by Nothnagle Furniture and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mary is survived by one daughter, Gail Jarvis and John Bednar of Trumbull, two grandsons, Marc Jarvis and wife Jill of Easton and Tiger Jarvis and wife Andrea of Princeton, NJ, two great grandchildren, Carter and Paige Jarvis, one brother, Walter Bygott and wife Rosalie of Huntington, one sister, Virginia Borkowski of Southbury, very dear friend, Marie Mauritz of Trumbull and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved parents, Mary was also predeceased by one grandson, Adam Jarvis, one brother, John Bygott and one son-in-law, John Jarvis Jr.

All services will be private. The family would like to thank the staff of Jewish Home for the Elderly Tandet East for the compassion and also special appreciation for Amy Dos Santos for her constant tender care and support during my Mary's stay at the Jewish Home for the Elderly. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
