Michael Bonczewski

Bonczewski, Michael Bonczewski, age 57, of Shelton, beloved son of Ralph Bonczewski Sr. and Heide Braun Bergletz, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2016 in Griffin Hospital with his loving family by his side. Michael was born on December 2, 1958 in Heidelberg, Germany and was employed by Curran Volkswagen as a Parts Manager for 38 years. He had a passion for classic cars, was a member of the Round Town Cruisers and a model train enthusiast. Michael is survived by his father, Ralph Bonczewski Sr. of Milford, his mother, Heide Bergletz of Bridgeport, one brother, Ralph Bonczewski Jr. of Trumbull, cherished girlfriend, Debbie Hansen of Shelton, with whom he resided, one niece, Jennifer Ehman and husband Patrick of Woodbridge and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016, in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford officiated by Deacon Tom Masaryk. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may contribute in Michael's memory to the ALS Association Connecticut, 4 Oxford Road, Milford, CT 06460.
