Yassak, Olga V. Wysocki Yassak, age 98, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Charles M. Yassak, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2016 in Connecticut Hospice Branford with her loving family by her side. Olga was born on October 21, 1918 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Theodore and Natalie Nesmia Wysocki. She was employed by General Electric as a bookkeeper for over 36 years. Olga was part of the United Service Organization of World War II, was a trophy winning ballroom dancer, knit baby hats for area hospitals for new born babies and enjoyed horseback riding and swimming. Olga is survived by three daughters, Carol Nadeau and husband Dale of Madison, Charlene Sanner and husband Dawson of Milford and Laura Del Vecchio and husband Alex of Madison, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Charles, Olga was also predeceased by one great granddaughter, Alexa Marie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford at 10:30 AM officiated by Rev. Andrew Marus. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Saturday at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
