Pierina Masi

Pierina Masi age 92 of Stratford,  beloved wife of the late Emilio Masi passed away on December 13, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital , Waterbury. Pierina was born in Ripi Frosinone Italy on April 15, 1930 to the late Antonio and Filomena Crecco Faustini. She emigrated with her family in 1947 to the United States at the age of 17. She was a longtime Stratford resident and retired at the age of 62 from Remington Products Bridgeport where she was a factory worker.  Pierina is survived by her son, Enrico Masi and his wife, Karen of Port St. Lucie Florida, granddaughters, Sarah Pettinicchi and Leslie Ramirez, grandson, Alex Masi, great grandchildren, Tyler, Bryce, Hudson, Greyson, Dylan, and Gavin, one daughter, Donna Masi of Oxford, grandsons, Adam Rocks, Daniel Rocks, granddaughter, Marissa Rocks, great grandchildren, Sterling, Luke, Grace, Andre, Nick, and Danny, sisters-in-law, Gabriella Faustini, Vincenza Masi, her sister, Fern Trinder and several beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Pierina was predeceased by her brother, Jack Faustini, brothers-in-law, Domenico Masi and Michele Masi and one sister-in-law, Gina Faustini. She will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and her love of cooking and gardening and will be deeply missed by all. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main St., Stratford. Entombment will follow in St. Michael's mausoleum.
