Robert D. Hurley

Robert “Bob” D. Hurley, age 72, of Stratford, beloved husband of Patricia Turrini Hurley, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2022 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Bob was born on November 14, 1949 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late William and Patricia Muller Hurley. He was retired from Devine Bros as a Maintenance Manager where he worked for many years. Bob was an avid fisherman and Nascar fan. He also enjoyed building things and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his beloved wife, Patricia, Bob is also survived by his children, Rachelle Cataldo, Steven Hurley and wife, Jennifer, Dennis Hurley and wife, Michelle, Laura Vazquez and husband, Anthony, Kelsey Phelan and husband, Austin and his foster daughter, Maria Garby and husband, Tony, 13 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four brothers, Billy, Patrick, Kevin and Sean Hurley and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. All other services will be at the convenience of the family.
