Ronald G. Kuchta

Ronald G . Kuchta, age 82 , of Stratford passed away peacefully in his home  Saturday, March 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.He was the beloved husband of the late, Irene R (McCormick  )Kuchta. Ronald was born on November 14, 1942 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Albert and Anna ( Athens) Kuchta .He was a graduate of Bullard Havens Tech  and worked at  Sikorsky Aircraft for  6 years until he became the proud owner of  Milex Auto Repair Shop a business he took great pride in for  over 50 years. When  Ronald  wasn’t at the shop you could find him making deposits at the bank, tending to his tomato garden in the summer or playing his numbers at Sam’s News in a Jets jacket, and a Milex T-shirt, his go to uniform .Ronald enjoyed his Friday and Saturday nights out socializing with his friends and was a regular at many past and present restaurants around town  as well as his Casino trips.  His presence will surely be missed by all . His greatest love was his family , who he worked hard to give them all life has to offer and making sure they were always taken care of . Survivors include his loving daughters , Robin Kuchta and Kimberly Reed of Stratford. His cherished grandchildren Robert Harvey, Veronika Uhliar, Taylor Reed,  Johnny Reed  , great grandson Jonathan Lisej, and his longtime girlfriend Sandra Bargo. Ronald  is predeceased by his sister, Penelope Dulin. Family and  friends are invited to attend  graveside services on Friday , April 11 , 2025 at 11:00 AM at St John’s Cemetery 500 Moose Hill Road , Monroe CT .
