Rosalie Solemene Obituary

Rosalie Leopardi Solemene, age 91, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Michael A. Solemene, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2021 in Connecticut Hospice. Rosalie was born on February 27, 1929 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Michael and Lina Leopardi. She was employed by Hubbell as an Inspector for many years and enjoyed watching classic movies and spending time with family. Rosalie is survived by one son, Michael Solemene of Milford, two daughters, Andrea Bargo and husband, Robert of Ansonia and Gail Solemene of West Haven, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Solemene of Shelton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Michael, Rosalie was also predeceased by one son, Joseph M. Solemene Sr.. Due to the current health situation, all services were held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
